Nick Stam
Nick is a senior technical marketing director at NVIDIA. He joined the company in early 2005 and his team provides technical support to web and print tech media, industry analysts, and business partners. Nick's team also generates reviewer guides and technical whitepapers. Prior to NVIDIA, Nick worked for Ziff Davis Publishing as lab director and technical director of PC Magazine USA for nearly 14 years. Nick personally authored and edited numerous GPU and CPU architecture stories and reviews. While at Ziff Davis, Nick also co-founded the ExtremeTech website in 2001. Before joining Ziff Davis, Nick was director of Testing for National Software Testing Labs, and in the mid-80s he was a product manager at AT&T Computer Systems, bringing the first combined DOS/Unix 80286-based PC to market. Nick began his professional career at Informatics Corporation in 1980 as an IBM mainframe 370 Assembler programmer. Nick received an MS in computer science from SUNY Binghamton in 1980.
